It's been a while since I've done of these. Today we're only covering the letter N, but one of the subjects takes some rather extensive discussion. Geez I wonder what starts with a N.

Nakadashi (中出し)/Haramase(孕ませ)/Creampie

Starting off with a simple one, it's simply the act of ejaculating inside a woman. Haramase more specifically means "impregnation", but you'll find it pretty liberally used when a character cums inside regardless of whether or not it results in or there's an intent of causing pregnancy. Hence, creampie is probably the closest translation. Sometimes it's accompanied by an internal/x-ray shot showing the penis letting it out inside the pussy, usually to depict the semen hitting the womb, like in the picture below.

Netorare (寝取られ), NTR - Introduction

Now entering a really contentious topic, and also a long one. Netorare is often equated to the cuckolding fetish, where pleasure is derived from seeing a loved one having relations with other people. ....Yes but also no. Netorare is, in simple terms, a Japanese porn trope centered around a loved one (can be a significant other, but also can be a family member like mom or sister, or an one-sided crush) being stolen away by another person. What keeps me from saying it's 1-1 to cuckolding is that there are several types of NTR, and not all of them are supposed to cater to a cuckolding fetish. And I have reason to argue that Netorare works are trying to convey is close, but distinct from what a cuckolding fetish entails.

Usually in the West, we see people try to make sense of this disconnect by dividing it into 3 subcategories: Netorare, Netori and Netorase. I'll also be doing that, and explain each in their respective entry. But I should point out that the Japanese often make no clear-cut distinction. Sure, you will find works with Netori and Netorase in their titles every so often (as they are all inflections of the verb Netoru (寝取る), which refers to "the act of stealing someone else's lover" in itself), but most of the time stuff belonging to those genres as usually defined are just labeled Netorare. Because as the word implies, the act of stealing is the focal point, and that can be spun in a variety of ways

Now, while it's unusual for me to give my opinion on glossary posts, I want to make my stance on Netorare clear, since it probably colors my perception of it regardless of how fairly I try to tackle the topic

I don't enjoy Netorare works where the woman is a willing participant from the start, or is seduced by regular means. I find it boring and generally not worth my time. I'm into it when there's a clear corruption element going on, when the woman is being changed from someone loving, modest or otherwise virtuous into a slutty and sometimes even cruel woman. So I tend to gravitate more towards stuff told from the POV of the guy stealing the woman from the original partner, or that has no defined POV. And, if I'm reading something that leans more towards the cucked guy's POV, the inevitable moment where he is dragged through the mud by his former lover/mother/sister/etc is more an accessory to showcase the girl's fall than anything else for me. That's why I usually say "I don't care about NTR". I'm not repulsed by it, but I feel like I'm approaching it from a completely different angle than people who enjoy Netorare fetish at face value.

With that out of the way, let's talk about the three main types of NTR.

Netorare - From the point of view of the one having the girl stolen from them.

This is the most common type and the reason Netorare as a whole is often equated with Cuckolding, and for good reason - people with a cuckold fetish will probably get a lot of mileage out of these works.

It puts the reader in the shoes of the person having their loved one stolen from them. How it happens varies. It can be through mindbreak and sexual training (which is when it crosses into my zone of interest), it can be fully consensual on the part of the woman and the third party but never on the part of the losing party.  That's where I think it's different (and wider as a fetish) than cuckoldry as it's usually defined, the cuck is not a willing participant (which doesn't mean cuckold fetishists can't get a kick out of it). And more importantly to this discussion, what I often see artists who do Netorare mention is that they want to convey the feeling of despair of having something precious stolen from you. And how it needs to feel twisted. It's in a way, getting off to the sense of hopelessness and cruelty. It's why I think NTR is so popular and diverse as a genre, as well as why it gets such a visceral and divisive response from people - it goes into something more base and fundamental than "just" cuckolding. That's what makes it so appealing to some and so revolting to others. I often see in the comment sections of hentai websites (yes, I'm one of the weirdos who reads that kind of thing) arguing about whether or not the character deserved being cucked, and I think that is missing the point - Netorare is almost always unfair. It's bad things happening to good people. That is not to say the sexual element of seeing the woman getting fucked by another isn't a part of it - most Netorare works have the cucked main character get a hard-on or even ejaculate seeing the girl betray him. But the tone of these scenes tends to be one of despair, of brokenness. 

Netorare can and often is also told from the point of view of the woman instead of the guy, or alternating between them, but if ultimately everything is brought around to the idea of the "crushing sense of loss", it's Netorare.

In the cases where the protagonist 100% had it coming - usually by being neglectful towards the girl, or by being too oblivious for too long, or simply by being made intentionally unsympathetic through being portrayed as impotent or otherwise offputting, we're veering closer to another kind of NTR, which we'll discuss next.

Netori - From the point of view of the one stealing the girl away

I think everyone has at least witnessed this discussion before. People arguing that Netorare and Netori should be separate tags on a website, that they are different things, meant to evoke different feelings. And they're not wrong. But as I said, in Japan a "Netori" (寝取り, ネトリ) title will likely still have Netorare or NTR in its title or genre listing. And never trust people to tag stuff right in cataloging and piracy sites. So usually moderation elects to have a single NTR tag to keep things simpler. I can't blame them, look how long this whole thing is getting! VNDB has the interesting approach of having Netori be a trait you add to characters who steal others' loved ones, instead of a subgenre to tag works.

When the story is told from the point of view of the dude stealing the girls, the story expects no sympathy or identification with the cuck. You're supposed to side with the wife/mother/etc stealer. Often the person being cucked will have a reduced role, be unsympathetic as I talked about before, or even be just a token character without much to them. It's more that the idea of stealing someone who's loved by another is exciting. This style of NTR I'd think doesn't appeal to cuckold fans very much, and I've seen people complain about that.

Netori can be about regular old seduction, but it's usually not. Most works you'll see being touted as Netori have as a protagonist someone who at the very least is so gifted at sex he can drag a faithful woman into a life of depravity through the power of dick alone, and at most someone who employs drugs, harsh sexual training or even supernatural means to make the target his. The core tenant of it being a twisted relationship I mentioned in the previous entry very much remains, but instead of the anguish of a man discovering a betrayal it's either the struggle of a woman losing herself to pleasure and becoming a despicable man's slut, or the satisfaction of seeing a virtuous woman crack and fall for you, depending on who's the POV character.

I should mention that, as these categories are arbitrary attempts at categorizing a wide genre, there isa somewhat blurry divide between counts as "Netorare" or "Netori". A story that focuses mostly on the girls' training, brainwashing or what have you, but still makes a point of showcasing the cuck's side by the end, having both the perspective of "stealing someone" and "having someone stolen", doesn't fall neatly in either, for example, and will probably have something to offer for fans of both types of NTR, which is what keeps me from painting Netorare and Netori as opposites, as I often see people do.

Netorase - Consensual Sharing

As I said, Netorare encompasses cuckolding but isn't confined by it. Netorase is the subcategory that would more closely translate to cuckolding. Here, the same core tenants apply, but the cucked guy is a willing participant, may encourage the wife to seek other partners, and usually gets sexual pleasure in seeing her having relations with other men.

I don't like Netorase at all, and since my contact with the genre is basically non-existent, I struggle to come up with much to say about it. It's here for completion's sake, sorry if any Netorase fans out there expected a more thorough dive into the topic, I simply lack the knowledge.

As usual, there's a blurry line in the sense that there are NTR visual novels, for example, that have a Netorase ending while the others are more traditional "the cuck gets completely screwed over" Netorare or Netori. But I feel it's less blurry than the others in the sense that it's defined by the willing participation of the cuck, while the others are not.

I've also seen people equate Netorase with swinging or partner-swapping, but I disagree. I think the confusion comes from stories that start as wife-swapping evolving into full-blown Netorase, but the two are not the same in my eyes. As I said before, at least to my understanding, NTR is defined by the sense of loss, and swapping removes that. Swinging and Netorase can happen in the same work but are not the same thing.

The Marina no Netorase Houkoku series is probably the most well-regarded Netorase Eroge series.

Niku Benki (肉便器)/Cumdump

Literally meaning meat toilet, refers to a woman who is degraded to a subhuman state where she is treated like a mere receptacle for semen and other fluids. It will sometimes involve public use, but it's not a necessity. Due to the Japanese name, often the girl will sit at a literal toilet while being used this way, but again, not a necessity. It's just a matter of her being dehumanized and treated as a disposable cumdump that counts.

I choose mostly pictures that feature the toilet as a setting just because otherwise, niku benki/cumdump is something more discernible from writing than from visuals. A girl covered in semen is not necessarily being treated like a cumdump, after all.

Ninshin (妊娠), Botehara (ボテ腹), Ninpu (妊婦)/Pregnancy, Pregnant

Ninshin means pregnancy, while Ninpu means "pregnant woman". Botehara (sometimes also spelled as Harabote, 腹ぼて) refers to a visibly pregnant belly. These are all words you may see used to refer to a pregnant character. In the context of sexual slavery, often Ninpu Dorei (妊婦奴隷, Pregnant Slave) shows up, while Ninshin Akume (妊娠アクメ, Pregnant Orgasm) is often used by the pregnant heroine to refer to the orgasms she's experiencing.

There's not much to say really, it's just the usual keywords for pregnancy being featured in Japanese adult works.

Nikutai Kaizou (肉体改造)/Body Modification, Remodeling

In simple terms, it's altering the body (usually for our ends, the female body) through artificial means. It can yield very similar results to Transformation tropes covered here under Kyousei Henshin, but it's less a result of corruption and more of a forceful and invasive, sometimes even surgical process, utilizing sci-fi machinery or magic (in the latter case, usually involving tentacles). I tried getting a mix of both kinds in the image samples.

It's also worth noting that in many cases, body modification will have much subtler results than Transformation stuff, with results like slight breast or clitoris enlargement, nipple deformations and other stuff like that, or even have "invisible" results, such as the heroine's throat being turned into an erogenous zone.

And so we finish today's Hentai Glossary. We're not too far from its conclusion, at least for the original list of terms I drafted. It's entirely possible I make addendums later as I become aware or interested in terminology I haven't covered due to forgetfulness or ignorance. My Comiket 104 Reads

Comic Market 104 happened earlier this week in Japan, and on its second day, lots of doujinshi of all kinds were sold.

As I don't live in Japan, I couldn't go join the sweaty masses under the almost 40º Celsius temperatures of the Tokyo Summer to participate, but since nowadays lots of artists release their works online simultaneously, the days of waiting for months for scans are mostly gone - there's always the hidden gems and the doujinka that release physical only but, for my admittedly limited range of interests, that is not the case.

There are 4 Doujins I read this week that were sold at C104 and I want to share some thoughts about them. This is half review half recommendation post. 

As a side note, I can't help but feel that as time goes by, more doujin are flying under my radar because I don't know the names of up-and-coming artists, so if you found something cool released this Comiket feel free to share in the comments.

There will be moderate spoilers for each doujin, especially for the Victim Girls one which I described in more detail. The rest I just went over briefly while discussing the content, that one I felt I couldn't discuss what I liked without telling the story.

Omae no Kaa-chan Ikutoki no Kao Sugee Busu da zo w 3

Third and final installment of Neromashin's series which started as a fairly standard Mom NTR but evolved and changed as the shota protagonist joined his bullies to dominate his mom himself. In the first installment, main character Yuuto entered an agreement with the bullies who were training his mom: he brings another big-breasted woman, they let him fuck his mom. He brought his surprisingly youthful grandma (on his father's side) Fumiko and got high on the feeling of dominating and degrading his mother Yukie. By the end of chapter 2, both Yukie and Fumiko are fully enslaved by the boys, and Yukie even starts sending pictures to her husband (who's away on a business trip) on "Yuuto-sama"'s orders.

This chapter is exactly what you'd expect - debauched sex all the way through between the boys and the two women, who get degraded even further, happily humiliating themselves. Halfway through, the dad returns and is horrified by what his wife and mother have become, pregnant sex slaves with huge bushes of armpit hair constantly doing hideous expressions of sexual ecstasy, and moreover, by the role his son played in this. Yukie fully discards what love she had left for her husband and declares that she's a pig who loves Yuuto-sama, with Fumiko following suit, boasting that he was able to impregnate a 55-year-old like her. They expel enema in front of him and then give birth assisted by the boys shoving their hands in their asses. It's completely depraved and I love it.

A fair warning is that, this being Neromashin, there's a fair amount of scat. Like 6 or so pages in the 30-page doujin, not a huge deal, but it's a centerpiece in the climax. Another potentially divisive thing is, as the name of the series indicates (translated as "Your Mom's Face When She Cums is Fucking Ugly, lol"), a lot of focus is on the orgasm faces of the two women, who look extreme and "ugly" in the sense they're supposed to look indecent, vulgar, disgusting. There's tears, snot, teeth showing, and extreme ahegao. It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea but I really like it. The best thing about this series is that it proposes to be vile and it delivers on that both in the art and in the character development fronts.

Vanishing Reality ~Otome Ginsei Lumiphonia~

The first chapter of Satou Kuuki's newest series. Returning to the magical girl genre, this is a setup chapter that does a damn good job of building the setting and characters while still delivering on some hot sex. But it's still a setup chapter and it's a bit frustrating that we'll have to wait until next Comiket to get the second chapter and then until the next one for the third - because the way it's set up, there's no way it's going to be less than 3 chapters. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's dial it back to the beginning.

I won't dwell too much on the setting because I'm 100% going to make a review of the series once there are enough chapters, granted I'm still around by then. But basically, the magical girls stream their fights, and the impressions and feelings of everyone watching and commenting are channeled as power. The catch is that people don't know the magical girls are real - everyone thinks they're V-Tubers and that everything is just CG. Because they fight in a distorted space the monsters create (the titular Vanishing Reality). and any civilian caught in the mix loses their memory. It's a silly premise but there's enough groundwork laid on for it to work. Silver Star Maiden Lumiphonia is the magical girl we follow in this chapter, her secret identity being a high school girl named Oshimizu Seren. Seren gets involved with a boy named Kaoru after saving him from a monster (Kaoru doesn't lose his memories) and after a few pages of them getting to know each other over time, they have their first time together. It's after they do the deed that things start for real.

Zomel, the leader of the monsters, who appeared before violating women (to gather some sort of energy) hid a piece of one of a previously defeated monster in her shadow (I think, that was a bit confusing to me) and activates it during a fight after she "lost her purity". Zomel deduced being a virgin was a key component of her power, as "Maiden" is a part of her title. Now he assaults Lumiphonia with both his penis and tentacles, and her costume starts changing into a dark version. Turns out Zomel (who is more of a scientist-type villain despite his appearance, testing hypotheses and talking in more "scientific" style terms, rather than the usual Demon) decided to borrow the method the magical girls use to power up, and their sex is being streamed. The comments are mean, talking about her huge nipples, calling her a slut, most people thinking she's a Lumiphonia lookalike and not the real thing. 

Their sexual is causing her suit to transform during sex and giving the opening for Zomel to corrupt her. He talks about how her cells are being "impregnated" (complete with a visual of an evil sperm entering a cell) with his essence. First her skin, then her organs, and eventually even her brain will be consumed. At one point, a womb tattoo shows up on her body, as Zomel proclaims she's now his, but then they are interrupted by another magical girl entering the Vanishing Reality, and he flees, leaving an untransformed and apparently back to normal Seren behind. She calls Zomel's name, which clues the new girl in on the fact that he defeated her.

And that's where it ends. Damn it, Satou Kuuki! I don't want to wait until December to read the next chapter! Which will be about the new girl, if he doesn't change his mind, so Seren's corruption will probably be somewhat on hold until next year. Argh. Though I do have a suspicion/copium that Seren is already mostly corrupted and that she will play a role in corrupting the new magical girl. Anyway.

I have mixed feelings. This manga needed the setup to work, the way the magical girl powers work is out there and the fact the villains capitalize on it so much means it needed to be well developed. And as a magical girl fan, it's fun on its own way to see a well-thought-out scenario as background.  But on the other hand, it almost feels like a prologue. A tease. Which is why I didn't do a full review of it.

Victim Girls - Sennen Iki Tsuzuketa Megami Daikousha

After some experimenting with his two previous manga, Asanagi returns to the Victim Girls series, and returns in style. With an original work as well, which always turn out to be my favorites from him.

This one takes place in a fantasy world watched over by a goddess who concedes boons to people - power to heroes who defeated demon lords, healing powers to saints, and so on. The manga opens with a narration about that, and also explains that she has a priestess chosen as her human counterpart, who can live forever and has a power that can show her the past and future of anyone she locks eyes with, which she uses to pass judgment on people brought before her by the knights. The current priestess is named Flavia and she's 999 years old, though she looks as young as when she was blessed by the Goddess. In her long life, she grew bored of pretty much every hobby and distraction - except for masturbation. Flavia is incredibly sexually frustrated - she wants to lose her virginity before turning 1000, but everyone around her only sees her as a holy object of worship - they fear her, adore her, and worship her, but no one sees her as a woman. She's also confined to the temple, so she can't go out to solicit men elsewhere. She wears extremely skimpy clothing in an attempt to entice the men around her, to no avail. So masturbating is what's left to her, often using magic to peep on people in the city. Over the years Asanagi seems to have developed a thing for girls who are secretly obsessed with masturbating. I usually prefer girls who are righteous and sex-hating and get corrupted, but I also get the appeal and how it works into the usual Victim Girls theme of "female nature".

Flavia's favorite masturbation aide is watching a man who owns several sex slaves and makes them dress just like her. Things take a dark turn very fast when one of the girls is too loose for the guy and, when he decides to cast her away, she begs for the "final service" instead: being killed while having sex with him. Other two girls wrap a rope around her neck and choke her to death, and it's a blissful experience. The other girls see it as a huge honor, with the MC saying that one day it'll be their turn. After she croaks, he tells the girls to throw her body in the river.

Flavia masturbated to the whole thing, but on a rational level felt enraged and told herself that if she could leave the temple she would hunt down that guy. Well, as fate would have it, the next day he is brought before her to be judged for the death of the girl. He denies everything, saying it was the girls who killed her and threw the corpse away. It's technically the truth, so he'll escape the death penalty - until she looks into his future, and sees him strangling a woman to death with his own hands, though the woman seems to be loving every second of it. To her shock, the woman is her. She gives the man the death penalty. He's to be executed the next day. Unable to contain herself, however, Flavia goes to him at night by teleporting straight to his cell. Since he's the first to look at her with lustful eyes, and is having an erection even now, she is going to use him as a "human vibrator" to graduate from her virginity, taking advantage of the fact he's immobilized, shackled to the bed and thus "safe". It's Asanagi, you know how well this goes for her. She ends up cumming just by inserting his penis, and as she uses her powers to look into the future, sees herself as a slave catering to him. She needs to flee now to avoid that future, but her pussy is just clamping down harder. The guy of course frees himself from his shackles and forces her to move until she passes out, at which point he beats the crap out of her to make her tighten up.

By next morning, Flavia's body is full of slap marks and she hides in her room ashamed while feeling up her slap marks and getting horny again. She decides to look at the MC's "handsome face" one last time before his execution to schlick, only to see him violating the two nuns who went to his cell to hear his confession, choking them to death. The two girls break completely and start calling him a god. After they die, Flavia teleports to the cell and resurrects them with magic, confronting the MC but really, she's just putting on a facade, she's there to be taken. This is when she breaks completely and becomes his property. After she fully gives in there's even a few panes of internal monologue of her agonizing over how she wants to suck his cock but it's not proper for a female to act without a male's order. She and the two nuns service him together. 

Just one problem: he's going to be executed. Her decision can't be overruled. She finds a solution: she can die in his stead. So the scene she saw when she first locked eyes with him plays out, while the two resurrected nuns watch over her. Flavia dies while seeing "the glorious future" he will usher in.

The death of the priestess summons the Goddess Iris herself. The Goddess is disgusted by the MC's action but he only thinks about fucking Iris as well since she's also a sow. But his hand burns when he tries to touch her. As an avatar of all women, he can only touch her if that is the collective will of all women in the world. At that moment, a resurrected Flavia grabs Iris and says that she's not honest since she was watching it all the time while she and the nuns were being fucked and killed. Dying to summon the goddess was part of Flavia's plan to save her master, and then she uses her powers to show Iris the future, and what we see is both Flavia and Iris serving the MC together as slaves, even getting pregnant. The future where he can touch and enslave Iris will arrive. The collective will of women will dictate he can touch and fuck her. Therefore, he can already touch her all he wants. When she comes out of the vision, she's already done. She says she won't lose to him, while already calling him master and squirting as he pulls her by the neck.

The manga wraps up with a few pages showing the world transformed by the protagonist, with the order of nuns turned into sexual servants, several women (including Flavia and Iris) going through a routine of masturbating while hanging themselves and then being revived through magic, and so on, while the narration mentions that thousands of men were executed and, in a mirror of the opening text talking about the goddess granting blesses, talks about how she was subjugated by a new god and the happiness he brings to the women, and how despite their lives now being cut short, they're lived in full.

I really loved this one. It may be recency bias, but it feels like the best Asanagi doujin in a few years. Hot main girl, good secondary girls, and a very interesting use of the whole future vision thing. I mean, first, there's Flavia fulfilling her own prophecy due to her inescapable nature as a female, which is peak Asanagi, and then there's how cause and effect are basically broken by showing Iris the future: the fact in the future she becomes a slave in the future, meaning women will accept the protagonist as their owner, means she can be conquered now. Which then leads to the protagonist being able to conquer the world with her by his side. Galaxy brain move.

The focus on erotic asphyxiation is also to my liking. That's an element that's always there in Asanagi works but this time it's the centerpiece, and I think it's very well utilized. It never feels morbid despite all the deaths (though most of them are reversed through magic, there's still the bodies going limp), it feels like dark humor because it's so absurd. At least to me. I mean, the protagonist literally becomes God, this is not an edgy snuff manga trying to take itself seriously. I also love how Asanagi describes it as a pure love story in promotional material. Flavia does sacrifice herself out of love for her master, he is technically not wrong!

PERU Ochi

As someone who played Persona 3 back when it was relatively new, it's funny seeing it become such a big thing again thanks to the remake. And one of the best things to come out of the renascence of Persona 3 popularity is this corruption doujin by Sanatuki. Since this one was released online a week or so before Comiket, it's the only one already fan-translated at the time of writing this post.

As usual with Persona corruption and mind control doujins, we have a faceless unattractive protagonist who has a Persona that allows him to influence the girls. In this case, it's able to change the common sense of the girls and gradually brainwash them through pleasure, until they give themselves to the protagonist of their own free will (if you can call it that), at which point they're transmogrified into a coffin with a heart pattern, and inside their bodies and minds are transformed to suit the guy's tastes.

At the start of the doujin, Fuuka has already been brainwashed and Mitsuru is undergoing remodeling inside her coffin (though we do get a short flashback showing her confronting the doujin's protagonist and getting fucked into submission), while Yukari has just been lured into his trap by Fuuka. She gets hit by a spell and passes out. The next day, her common sense is altered so she is easily convinced Mitsuru and Fuuka fucking the protagonist is normal, and keeps getting hornier and hornier as they keep putting her in voyeuristic situations, culminating in her getting a facial. During the Dark Hour, Yukari remembers what is happening.

This cycle goes on for a while, Yukari's common sense being toyed with during the day and she getting fucked during the dark hour. Soon enough, she's completely addicted to sex but still saying that she won't fall no matter how many times he cums inside her. Until one day the guy decides to ignore her. Since she isn't going to yield to him, he's just going to fuck Fuuka and Mitsuru instead. If Yukari wants it, she will have to beg for it.

This breaks Yukari and, goaded by the protagonist's Persona, she swears to become his slave and is remodeled inside the coffin.

Now what surprised me, and was the cherry on top corruption-wise, is that Yukari turns into a dark-skinned, gyaru-ish version of herself wearing a lewd version of her usual outfit. I love this kind of thing in corruption stuff. Soon after, Mitsuru and Fuuka become like that as well. This is explained as them becoming existences that mix their normal selves and shadows. Now they can act outside the dark hour, and the protagonist sends them to attack Gekkoukan High School. We have a few scenes of the girls (temporarily turned into futanari, which is expected from Sanatuki) corrupting the secondary girls of the game like Toriumi-sensei and Yuuko, who also get remodeled into dark-skinned slaves to the protagonist. The best in this part is Yukari getting furious at Toriumi for being rude to her master and "correcting" her attitude. This is the only futa content in the doujin.

After that, they take over the SEES dormitory (Mitsuru casting Pulinpa and Marin Karin, confusion and charm spells from the Persona series. Players of the original 2006 game will find hilarious that she actually lands a hit) and Fuuka and Mitsuru have a straight shota scene with a hypnotized Ken Amada, with (in a moment sadly lost in the translation) Fuuka saying that his graduation from virginity will be so good it will traumatize him. Yukari doesn't join the fun, she keeps fucking the protagonist saying she's devoted only to him.

There's also a few scenes with Aigis (remodeled into a sexbot) and Elizabeth (who's just doing it out of curiosity - and Igor doesn't give a shit someone just took over the whole operation), as well as the Female Protagonist from Persona 3 Portable, but they're pretty quick. It's the usual for big Sanatuki doujins: the first part is the main girls, the second part is corrupting every other character he can think of. I think the only P3 female character who didn't show was Maiko, the little girl, and that's probably because she hangs out in a completely different place than the other characters.

As I already stated I love the approach to the corruption Sanatuki took here, but as my summary probably makes clear, it's one you'll enjoy more if you're familiar with Persona 3. Besides featuring lots of characters, some of them very briefly, he works in concepts of the game into the doujin's plot, and so on. It's the same deal when he does doujins from other IPs, and that's one of the things I like about his works. Hell, if I'm being honest half the reason I watched Kimetsu no Yaiba was because I wanted to know who the girls were before reading his Kimetsu doujins. Was that overdoing it? Probably. Do I regret it? Nope, it was much better knowing exactly who everyone getting turned into a demon in that one was. But I digress. Going back to PERU Ochi, I feel in this case the art and the corruption are good enough that it can probably still be enjoyed by someone who never played Persona 3. It's just better if you did.

These are the four doujin I read and recommend from Summer Comiket. Given they're all from big-name doujinka, I expect the ones that aren't translated yet to get translations pretty soon.

[Review] [Manga] Akuochi Sentouin Series

"Transforming into Combatant" (Sentouin-ka) is a rather niche subsect of mind control and transformation fetishes (that I already covered on a Hentai Glossary post, by the way) around the concept of an evil organization turning innocent people into skintight suit-clad combatants like those in Sentai and Showa Kamen Rider. If you're unfamiliar with these series, think the faceless mooks the Power Rangers fight before taking on the monster of the week. There have been a few anime recently with rank-and-file combatants as protagonists as well, though they usually go with combatants as employees or born into the organization angle, as regular anime wants the protagonists to be sympathetic even if nominally evil.

It's not hard to find standalone pictures or short CG sets of female characters being turned into combatants, but full series dedicated to that are pretty rare. So when I found one that scratched the itch just right, I had to make a post about it.  

A few days ago I was looking for some stuff to read on DLSite when I came across a circle named くれーぷくれーぷ (Crepe Crepe, I guess) that specializes in tokusatsu heroine sex and corruption and happens to have an original series based around the whole combatant concept. Each chapter has its own title, but in the descriptions, they refer to the first part of the series (comprised of 8 main chapters and a few extras like an audio chapter and a two-chapter Futanari spin-off which I have not read yet and will not be covered here) as NTR Sentouin Series (NTR戦闘員シリーズ) and the second part (which has just two chapters as of now) Akuochi Sentouin Series (悪堕ち戦闘員シリーズ), which is the name DLSite is using for the page with the whole body of work, so that's what I'm going with as well.

Series Overview

The 10 main installments of the series so far

The plot is simple: a secret society called Neo Dark suddenly appeared and started trying to conquer the world with their monsters. In response, an elite team of warriors meant to fight against them was assembled by the government, the Powered Men. With the arrival of the Powered Men the war was brought to a stalemate but human society is at a disadvantage - a grave recession set in, and every attack by Neo Dark deals a blow to the morale of the population and the reputation of the Powered Men, while Neo Dark has a seemingly never-ending supply of soldiers.

Well, we know where these soldiers come from, or I wouldn't be writing this. The number of disappearances since Neo Dark showed up is steadily increasing, the reason being that they're kidnapping civilians and brainwashing them to serve as combatants. Not all combatants are kidnapped - some people join the society of their own volition, either because of their own desires or because the circumstances forced them to, like working to pay a debt. Regardless, they get brainwashed, deindividuated, don a mask and receive a serial number as their new name, becoming a part of Neo Dark's fighting forces. The series chiefly focuses on the training and brainwashing phase of women captured to become female combatants, though there are chapters with different premises dotted thorough.

And Neo Dark Combatants aren't just fodder to fight the heroes and, in the case of the females, sex relief tools for the male members. They're also in charge of proactively "scouting" new members for their ranks. Which leads to characters we've seen being corrupted returning to lure their loved ones into traps, or even just showing to train the victim of the chapter as one of Neo Dark's nameless mooks, but you the reader knows who she is (or rather, once was). This sense of interconnectivity between chapters that otherwise stand alone is something I really like. Doesn't get too heavy on continuity while still having ongoing plotlines that get brought to the forefront when it's appropriate. There's also a good sense of time progression. Over one year goes by between chapters, and the situation of the war gradually changes as a result of Neo Dark's actions (as some of the brainwashing victims aren't random people but chosen to deal blows to Powered Men's support line),

Most of the series (as in, the first part) has a focus on NTR, with pretty much all girls having a boyfriend, brother or someone dear that she gets taken away from. How hard the chapter goes into the NTR tropes varies, for a series about turning women into faceless mooks there's a surprising amount of variety here. Creator くれーぷる (Kureepuru. Creeple? Creople, as the sadpanda tag romanizes it? Fuck if I know) talks about how the second part drops the NTR from the title to not be bound to just that kind of heroine.

Art and Sexual Content

The art is serviceable for what it's trying to do and for its price. All these chapters were selling for 5 dollars at full price, and there was a 50% sale so I paid less than 3 bucks for most of them. I feel like it is a fair price and that the artist is aware of the shortcomings of their artwork. Despite through look of the linework, I think it manages to convey the softness of the bodies and from time to time the artist pulls off some great facial expressions. There's also more variety of sex positions and angles than I expected; it's not uncommon for artists doing this fetish to reuse tons of stuff (since the base suit is always the same), and that does not happen here, at least I didn't notice. The girls look distinct from one another and while there isn't much in the way of body diversity (sorry flat chads, this one is not for you), I'm all for big tits and thick thighs so it didn't bother me.

As for what kind of content is here, it's brainwashing via pleasure training, so it's more mindbreak than what might come to mind when I say brainwashing, really. This isn't uncommon in Combatant brainwashing, as often it's the suit or the fluids from the other combatants that have a corruptive element triggered by sex (in this case, semen from Combatants has a strong aphrodisiac). Some chapters do get more creative with their training approaches but for the most part, it's sex until the girl breaks. And by sex I mean oral, vaginal and anal, usually with excessive amounts of semen pouring in and out of each hole. It's to the point it may look somewhat silly with how much the girls are writhing around and having their tits pulled by the nipple, shooting semen out of their asses like a pressure hose, that kind of thing. In the more Netori-focused chapters, the girl usually severs ties with her former life by getting gleefully getting fucked in front of her husband.

I'm going to go into a bit more detail in the spoiler section, going into my thoughts on each chapter while giving a brief summary on their events as I go. If you don't care to read about it, feel free to skip to the Conclusion section.

Hitozuma Sentouin Atsuko (Married Woman Combatant Atsuko)

This chapter is pretty different from the others and honestly not great. Atsuko started working for Neo Dark to pay her husband's debts (his company went under due to the economic crisis brought about by the war). It's presented like it was too good an opportunity to pass up, and the chapter opens talking about how society was becoming corrupt and people were being driven to commit crimes to survive, so it fits. She's doing this behind the husband's back of course. This chapter also introduces Geroron, a frog monster and one of Neo Dark's executives and recurring character in these first few chapters. Now, in this chapter the Combatants aren't allowed to speak, meaning Atsuko only grunts (and screams the "Ooooo" that is their mindless warcry) for most of the chapter, but we are treated to her thoughts. Unlike the rest of the series that has more dynamic sex scenes with uniquely drawn pages, this one uses a base for each scene like a CG set. What should be the highest point, the scene at the end where Atsuko is fucked by Geroron in her neighborhood in front of her husband, after months of training, falls a bit flat as after her final break, we don't see her thoughts. The other chapters definitely made the right call by making the combatants able to speak. Atsuko is a really hot short haired milf, but she really shines as a returning character in future chapters, as we'll soon see.

Kareshi-mochi JK Sentouin Mitsuha (High School Girl with a Boyfriend Combatant Mitsuha)

Here's where things get started for real. Mitsuha is a member of the karate club who wants to take the exam to join the Powered Men. She has a boyfriend named Ryo, and while they aren't seeing much of each other due to her training, they promise to have a special day in a week, their anniversary. The reason Mitsuha is so motivated is that her brother's wife was kidnapped by Neo Dark, and she wants to rescue her. That wife is Atsuko. That same Atsuko just shows up before Mitsuha, and using herself as a distraction has other Combatants capture Mitsuha. She's taken to Geroron to be brainwashed. She coming to her senses only to learn Atsuko sold her for the reward of sucking Geroron's dick is my favorite moment in the chapter. Atsuko is pretty hot here teasing Mitsuha and telling her, when she's on the floor cumming miserably, that she has the face of a Neo Dark Combatant. We don't see Mitsuha's fall, instead, she reveals herself as a fully brainwashed combatant on her anniversary with Ryo. In an interesting twist, while Mitsuha breaks up with Ryo and fucks a male combatant right in front of him, Atsuko offers the boy a chance to join Neo Dark.

The beginning of the series doesn't look very good but can still manage to be hot through the situations and timing.

Hakoiri Reijo Sentouin Ayame ~Nerawareta Hero no Konyakusha~ (Sheltered Lady Combatant Ayame ~The Targeted Hero's Fiancée)

This chapter shows a bit more of Powered Men's inner workings. The organization needs a lot of funding to keep operating, and a lot of that comes from Tough Support Company. In order to gain the upper hand in the war, Neo Dark decides to break that pillar of support the heroes have by brainwashing Ayame, the daughter of Tough Support's CEO, so she can leak information from inside and help them destroy the company. Ayame is also engaged to Kenji, or Powered Blue, a member of the hero team. Ayame's training is very different from the previous two and I like it. She has special vibrators attached to her nipples, pussy and ass that keep her edging forever, while a monitor and speakers keep blasting propaganda about how great Neo Dark is. Straightforward brainwashing. While she's in the room the only hydration and food she can have is piss and cum from Neo Dark combatants. This is the chapter that introduces the aphrodisiac properties of Neo Dark cum. The sheltered princess who had never even masturbated before and believed her fiancee would come to rescue her loses her grip on her sanity and ends up drinking fluids with gusto and begging for sex, breaking completely when she finally gets to cum. We cut back to the heroes sometime later, receiving the news that Tough Support has gone under, and a video has surfaced of the recently missing Ayame dressed in a combatant suit saying that she was the one leaking information before filling her mask with cum and putting it on, telling Blue it's his fault she became a semen-loving sow.

Netorare Sentouin Butai ~4-nin no Mesu ga Netorare Sennou Choukyou~ (Netorare Combatant Squad ~4 Females are Stolen, Trained and Brainwashed~)

This chapter starts with Geroron dying. Not that it matters, as we're introduced to Don Darkness, the leader of Neo Dark, as he fucks the heroines of the previous 3 chapters. Powered Men got their sixth ranger, so Neo Dark needs to increase their numbers. So, the combatants are sent to brainwash more women. It reads like 4 mini-chapters showing the titular 4 females going from their daily lives to brainwashing combatants in 5 pages each. What's fun here is that 3 of them are trained by the previous heroines. There's a student council president, a "yankee" style delinquent, an idol (who, instead of a significant other, betrays her fans), and a mesugaki who, funnily enough, is "corrected" by the big boss Don Darkness himself, who goes into a wordy rant about the character archetype. Fun little chapter that just serves to introduce a bunch of girls at once, and may be hit or miss in how rushed it is.

Hitozuma Sentouin Mika (Married Woman Combatant Mika)

The target this time is Mitsuha's mother (and Atsuko's sister-in-law), tying the loose ends with that family. After Mitsuha's disappearance, Mika basically keeps her husband going, giving him hope they'll be reunited. Unbeknownst to him, she struck a deal with Ryo, now a Combatant, who she believes knows where Mitsuha is, that he'll free her if Mitsuha lets him fuck her once. Of course, it's all a ruse and after Ryo is done Atsuko shows up to gloat about being the one who kidnapped both Mitsuha and Ryo in the first place, making fun of Mika for falling for such an obvious trap. She gives Ryo a drug that enlarges his dick and the two continue Mika's pleasure training, with Ryo taking the pussy and Atsuko using a toy on milf's ass (this is a fairly anal-focused chapter, though all holes get due attention). To further shatter her hopes, Mitsuha also pops up during the training to make fun of her. After her fall, mother and daughter call the husband pretending Mitsuha has been found, only for them to reveal their true selves and have a "farewell gangbang" with male combatants in front of him, ejecting cum from her asses on his face in the end.  This is one of my favorite chapters not only because I really like mother-and-daughter stuff, but also because of how neat it is to see it all come together from previous chapters. And Atsuko is just fucking hot as a villainess, too. Every chapter with her in a big role gets a few extra points for me.

Atsuko and Mitsuha wait for the right moment to push Mika past the point of no return.

Fujinkeikan Sentouin Ryouko ~Aru Oushu-hin no DVD no Kiroku~ (Policewoman Combatant Ryouko ~Records from a Certain Confiscated DVD~)

The author commented in the afterword that since the last chapter was heavy on continuity, they wanted to make a standalone one. As a result, I really don't have much to comment on, as it also isn't much to my taste. The chapter is narrated by an unseen cop protagonist who admires his senpai Ryouko, a young but fierce policewoman who impresses even her superiors with her skills and courage. However, she vanished when investigating Neo Dark. Sometime later, the protagonist confiscated a DVD from a Neo Dark... Colaborator..? Location..? I don't remember, honestly. Anyway, it had Ryoko's name on it, so he took it with him instead of leaving it with evidence. It's a video record of her training. Ryouko is turned into a meat toilet combatant, responsible not only for sex relief duty like all other female combatants but also specifically for drinking semen. This chapter is oral-focused and while there are some good blowjob scenes and there's a nice juxtaposition between Ryouko talking about her duty as a Policewoman and Combatant Nº6222 talking about her duty as a toilet, it's missing something to me. It's too short, there's not enough going on in her training, and there's too much of the cuck's perspective for my taste, leaning more toward the Netorare side of things than other chapters.

Hero ni Akogareru Shounen ga Aku no Sentouin no Onee-san ni Kawaigararete Akuochi Sennou (A Boy who Admires Heroes is Pampered by Evil Older Women Combatants and Brainwashed to Evil)

And now for something completely different. This is a straight shota chapter. The brainwashing victim is a young boy part of the Powered Squad, a group that supports the Powered men. Sidekicks, I assume (it's not elaborated much). He's been captured so he can be brainwashed and then corrupt the rest of his squad. What's special about this chapter is that the Combatants in charge of his brainwashing are Atsuko and Mika, and every other female combatant introduced so far (including the 4 from the anthology chapter) make an appearance tormenting the little boy with all kinds of teasing (he is not allowed to cum, or to have vaginal intercourse at all), until he's driven mad. It's just so twisted, I love it. There's only so many times I can say I like seeing the previous victims being evil, but this chapter is all about that. Seeing Mika in particular is nice as she retains her motherly personality only it's completely twisted by her newfound loyalty to Neo Dark, and she weaponized it against the young boy.

Hitozuma Heroine Sentouin Momoko - Seigi no Heroine Haiboku Sennou Akuochi NTR (Married Heroine Combatant Momoko - Heroine of Justice is Defeated, Brainwashed, Corrupted and Stolen)

This is the final installment of the "NTR Sentouin" part of the series. And as such, it's the final confrontation with the Powered Men. They have been dealt blow after blow during the series - losing their funding, losing their support squad, more and more people getting brainwashed because they fail. The entry blurb of each chapter which talks about the war between the two groups has slowly but steadily gone from describing a stalemate to a losing scenario for the heroes. Despite that, or rather, because they need hope in a moment like that, Powered Red has married Momoko, Powered Pink. Their happiness is soon shattered as the Powered Men, now reduced to just the two of them, are defeated by Don Darkness and Atsuko. This is one of the best chapters and I'd get caught up describing most of it if I allowed myself to. Basically, Don Darkness mindbreaks Momoko right in front of Red, and even at the start when she's talking about how their love will keep her strong Darkness cuts in to laugh and tell Red "by the way before you woke up she already came twice". It's utterly hopeless all the way through. Momoko makes some great faces as she struggles and loses. Heroine corruption is my jam and this chapter hits all the right notes. There are a few things that make this chapter good besides the sex stuff, like the way Momoko reflects her sin of trying to be happy even as the Powered Men failed their mission is being met with the punishment of being brainwashed by combatants/people they failed, and as a whole the conflict wraps up well, with Momoko being turned into Combatant N°10.000 and torturing Red herself weeks after their defeat.

The moment she realized no amount of love was going to save her.

In a random-ass sequel hook, by analyzing the technology of the Powered Men, Neo Dark cracks the secret to interdimensional travel. This world is already theirs. On to the next one.

Onna Sentouin Seishori Ninmu Kiroku (Female Combatant Sex Relief Duty Diary)

This is just an extra chapter taking place after the end of the series showing Atsuko, Ryouko, Sayaka (the delinquent from the 4 girls chapter) and Momoko performing their sexual relief duties for the male combatants. In other words, this chapter is just sex scenes. Nothing wrong with that. The Atsuko and Sayaka scenes are kind of whatever, Ryouko has one hilarious moment where she gets "all the holes in her face cummed inside", meaning not only her mouth but her nostrils and ear holes, but it's Sayaka who steals the show here as her section features her begging for forgiveness for what she did as a heroine while she gets spanked, stomped, kicked, all the while having orgasms from the rough treatment. Reading it right after the chapter where she's corrupted was a nice treat.

Hitozuma Sentouin Yukie (Married Woman Combatant Yukie)

So after deliberately removing the constraints of having to do NTR stories, the mangaka goes and does... A NTR story. Granted, it's again framed differently from the previous ones, but still, it's funny. And honestly, this might be the best execution of the NTR song and dance in the series. After honing the craft during the previous series they open the sequel with the definitive version.

This one takes place in a new world, Neo Dark is unknown and is being treated as a terrorist group. It's also funny that the "other world" hyped at the end of the previous series is another normal world, feeling almost like a reset button, and the author does say they considered more fantasy settings but felt more comfortable returning to basics. And they return to basics with style. First, we see glimpses of Atsuko now in a new white and black Combatant uniform leading Combatants around. Later we'll know that the previous series girls are now "Captain Class" Combatants.

This chapter features Yukie, a mother of two who has been having strange dreams of being dressed like these Neo Dark terrorists and performing depraved sexual acts with a man from her husband's company. Of course, it turns out the man is an undercover Neo Dark Combatant, having joined the organization out of jealousy towards her husband for "stealing" his career. He's been brainwashing Yukie for a few weeks and this chapter is the final session, with her trying to fight the training her body remembers. Eventually, her memories come back and she becomes his eager slut while Yukie's old self struggles and disappears the more sex they have. At her breaking point, she apologizes for her husband's foolish behavior while getting fucked in dogeza. Afterwards Neo Dark attacks her husband's company and "Combatant C0043" does the old routine of cutting ties with her old life by fucking in front of him.

Battle Heroine Sentouin Kanon (Battle Heroine Combatant Kanon)

The most recent chapter, and easily the most unique. Just like in the previous world, an organization was formed to stop Neo Dark. Funded by the UN, its name is Exion and instead of being Sentai-like the two girls shown have technological battle suits called Accelerators. The two members we meet, Accelerator Sword and Accelerator Buster, are Yukie's daughters Shizuki and Kanon. They believe Yukie to be dead (the father told them Neo Dark killed her in front of him, instead of what really happened) and are fighting to avenge her. During a fight with Mika, she reveals that Yukie is alive, which Shizuki doesn't believe but Kanon is visibly shaken by. As Shizuki attacks Yukie, falling for her bait, Mitsuha kidnaps Kanon. This chapter is Kanon's brainwashing process, and it initially doesn't go well because, unlike those idiots at Powered Men, Exion actually trained their heroes to resist their techniques. Even after making her orgasm a lot and pumping her with aphrodisiacs, Kanon is still sane. 

Ever since Momoko's chapter, the series has started showing more action scenes as well, with the main goal of showing the heroines in pain.

Mitsuha however isn't impressed and injects her with a drug meant for creating Milking Slaves (whose milk is used for feeding Combatants and gives the aphrodisiac effect to their fluids), which makes her flat tits become comically huge, and start shooting milk with pleasure "comparable to male ejaculation". It's really fun how since she's still in her Accelerator suit, the milk shoots out but just stretches the suit instead of pouring out. Makes for a really interesting scene, if you're into more extreme body modification. Anyway, the milking torture works but of course what really breaks Kanon is seeing her mom, who drives the girl insane with a warm smile simple phrase: "Welcome to Neo Dark". Kanon's deranged rant about how everything she did was for nothing while shooting milk from her tits is great. She covers the whole glass wall of her cell in milk to the point the interior can't be seen anymore while Yukie stands and watches, proud of what her daughter has become. Another good moment is the smash cut between Shizuki saying to her superiors (who consider Kanon dead) that she believes her sister will never yield to brainwashing and "Combatant C1066" doing Neo Dark's salute. The chapter ends with Shizuki determined to save her sister and mother while the two slaves are hooked to milking machines.

After this she gets a full cow costume and when she breaks she even starts mooing, but there's only so much I can cover

Conclusion

This isn't the best drawn and definitely not the best-executed mindbreak/corruption series out there. But damn if it didn't find a special place in my mind. It's a consistent yet not stale series of a fetish I struggle to find good content for, and that already makes it precious to me. Despite reading the whole thing in basically one sitting, I very rarely felt it was retreading old material, which is again a big plus as it's very common for mangaka doing a specific fetish to just recycle the same formula down to the sex poses. It isn't the case here.

Of course, the concept of Transforming into Combatant in itself is restrictive to an extent, so take that into account. When I say it didn't feel like it was retreading old material, I don't mean for example it didn't end the same way (almost) every time, it did, it's part of the fetish seeing the girls reduced to a nameless combatant with most of their personality rewritten to be an evil pervert. What changes, besides what kind of sex scenes they are featured in, is how they interact with other characters before and after their corruption and how some of their personality traits come through, like the tomboyish girl still being aggressive or her mother still being an ara ara type. Others are twisted into being unrecognizable, like the sheltered rich girl who goes from an innocent young lady to a complete sadist. Striking a balance between the "deindividuation" part of the fetish and keeping the characters just distinct enough to be recognizable in a multi-chapter series is not an easy feat and I think this does it well.

It's tough giving a score to a manga like this. On one hand, its technical side leaves to be desired and it can be repetitive, on the other hand, it's very true to the fetish it's doing and satisfying to read through. For fans of this kind of corruption, I think the pros far outweigh the cons and it's worth digging into even if you find the art shaky, and I do think fans of mindbreak also have a lot to like here but I'd say to proceed with more caution, look at the pics (both here and on the DLSite page) and read my pros and cons. For NTR people I recommend specifically Momoko, Ryouko and Yukie's chapters.

• Builds a sense of continuity with the corrupted characters returning to help convert new ones, and the background story getting organically developed as the chapters go.

• The fact most of the series is saddled with NTR. When its well done its really well done (and no sympathy for the cuck either except for one shitty chapter), but in other chapters it feels tacked on
• There's a nice variety of setups and the training scenes are varied but the payoff is always similar. That is the point but still something that should be pointed out.

Cons

• Art quality can be very rough at times. It improves as the series goes on but it's still decidedly amateurish.
• Chapter 1 is pretty weak and stands as an oddity compared to the rest of the series. Not a good representation of what it will be like (I happened to see a later chapter first)
• While I understand the constraints of page economy and self-publishing, I should mention there is a lot of tell don't show when it comes to most things outside the sex itself. This also seems to be getting better in newer chapters, however.

This post was long and self-indulgent, I didn't expect to write this much about it. But I couldn't help myself. This series doesn't even have raws on the usual hentai sites. It's that niche. However small my audience is, I want to shine some light on this neat thing I found.
