[News] New Nukige Coming Soon from Silky's Sakura, Guilty, Anim, Tryset and Miel

 It's been a while since I reported on upcoming eroge. And checking on VNDB (mostly by looking at upcoming releases and reading the titles, tagging on that site is dead) and EGS I found a few titles slated to release between now and June that have the potential to be interesting - and also the obligatory Miel game of the month. These are probably not all mindbreak, choukyou and etc games to be released in this timeframe and if you know of any others, please leave a comment, I'd like know of them, since I'm looking for new stuff to play myself, not just for covering here.

As usual, let's go through them by release order.

The latest game by Miel, and the premise is as cliche as you'd expect. Three cheeky gyarusi have made the protagonist's place their hangout spot and treat him like trash. Unbeknownst to him, the three are also the magical girls protecting the town from monsters. as fate would have it, the protagonist's sexual energy is needed for them to power up. Just once, they need to have sex with him. Of course, this is a Miel game, one dicking is all it takes to break and degrade them into his personal sex slaves and onaholes.

Like I said, the usual. Anyone looking forward to this one probably knows what they're getting into. If you never heard about Miel, I made a lengthy post on them recently where I talked about what their formulas and usual cliches are, as well as recommend some games from their ridiculously extensive catalog.

Yasuharu is a high school student is relentlessly bullied by his classmates, led by Yuuka, a charismatic gyaru with her hair dyed blond. The class' teacher, Nao, turns a blind eye because she has no passion for being a teacher and would rather not get mixed with her students' problems. And so, Yasuharu is driven to despair and, while searching for a way to painlessly kill himself, he finds a site on demon summoning with the tantalizing prospect of "if you want to die anyway, take revenge". So he decides to summon a demon to take revenge on his his bullies in exchange of his soul, but something goes wrong and instead of a demon, he summons a tentacle monster (who came from a fantasy isekai, right before being slain by the Hero). Scared, the protagonist flees and ends up hit by a car. Since both him and the monster are in bad shape, the monster offers to fuse together. Now, the protagonist has the means to take revenge on the two women he perceives as the root cause of his bullying.

Interestingly, the character profiles note that there are more than meet the eye to Yuuka, as she has poor communication skills and doesn't even particularly dislike Yasuharu, bullying him because it's what everyone else does, as a means to affirm herself before the class. As for Nao, she wants to get married, but doesn't have a partner in the moment. I'm really interested to see how that goes.

From the previews available it doesn't seem like the game will be particularly hardcore, which is disappointing, and it seems to rely a lot on the ability Yasuharu has of making the tentacles invisible. I'm not the biggest fan on invisible molestation as a trope, so despite the good premise I have my reservations about this title and will probably wait for user reviews and CG rips before deciding whether or not I'll play it.

I have spoken at length about Bishop's newest game here and here, and no new information has come out since (There aren't even any new previews to show, check out the second linked article for them). The cliffs notes version is: the protagonist is a health teacher with the power of stimulating "sexual chi" inside others bodies, and he used that to have his way with students in his previous job. He got caught and fired, but since the whole thing got covered up to avoid a scandal, he managed to get a job in another school and tried to keep a low profile there. Despite his efforts, a threatening letter came in demanding his resignation if he doesn't want his past to come to light. Deciding that if he's going down he might as well go with a bang, he goes after the girl he suspected sent the letter and raped her using his power to stimulate her orgasms. But turns out it wasn't her. But now that the dam burst, there's no stopping him and he goes after the girls in school that caught his eye, using his powers to make them his before the deadline given in the letter (the end of the trimester) comes.

It's the standard Bishop fare (raping and sexually training schoolgirls within a time limit) with a spin, once again anyone who played a Bishop game before should have a good idea of what they'll be getting here. I haven't played a Bishop title in a few years so maybe I'll give this a go, who knows. Maybe I just pick one of their new-ish titles I haven't played instead. Still, few companies do the sexual training part of choukyou as well as them, definitely recommended.

Eroge Kaisha no Kindan no Sekuhara Jijou ~Nerawareta Shinjin Illustrator~

Tryset Break is a company I've been meaning to familiarize myself with for a while. Their games are on the short and cheap side, but some seem really up my alley. Judging from the previews, this seems to be one of them, and the main heroine's design really clicked with me.

Iwasaki Asuza is a young woman who came from the countryside and failed to get a stable job in the big city, instead working part-time at a family restaurant. One day she sees on the internet that an eroge company she admired for a long time (she learned about eroge and has been into them since her school days) is hiring and goes for it. She gets hired as an illustrator but there's something off about it. The "company" is just the President's private apartment. And speaking of him, she feels very uncomfortable with the way he keeps leering at her. But she can't sweat the small stuff, this is the big break she wanted, and at the company of her dreams. As the official description puts it, this was the beginning of her nightmare.

The boss fits the bill of an ugly bastard to a T and his character profile mentions a couple of times that he has a mother complex, which makes me wonder how that will play out given Asuza is younger than him. I mean, with a body like that I can see why some men would want to call her mommy, but still, weird thing to highlight there and nowhere else.

The official site also highlights that the focus is on the power imbalance and how inescapable her situation is as the president uses of his power to harass and train Asuza.

I'm keeping my expectations tempered since it's a company I'm unfamiliar with and I know their games are short, but it does sound right up my while. Love me some big breasted innocent maiden getting corrupted by her boss.

This one I debated whether to put on the list because it isn't clear whether corruption and sexual training will play a large role in the game or not. As it is first and foremost a NTR game. I decided that it's worth at least keeping it on the radar until more previews come out.

The title and story setup sure indicate a strong vein of moral degeneration going on, with a protagonist in love with his own mother, who then gets manipulated by his neighbor into believing that it's just pent-up sexual frustration, which he then goes to explore with a girl their age, unknowingly leaving his mom all alone with for the fake friend to take. It has the usual trappings of the genre with a few twists (the presence of a girl the same age as the two shotas is a surprise, though so far there's no indication whether or not she'll be involved in the sexual content).

It's already a pretty depraved setting and the art is good, but I'm not really interested in consensual Netorare. But Mom NTR is rarely not accompanied by some form of corruption, and that's what I'm expecting here. As samples come out in the coming months the tone of the game will probably become clear and then a more informed decision can be made. As I said, for now it's something worth keeping on the radar at least.

Toriko no Urara ~Otoko no Sono ni Magirekonda Ichirin no Akai Hana~

And for the last game, one we have barely any info on. Guilty is a company with a long history but I'm wholly unfamiliar with their recent work (and by recent I mean anything in the past decade and a half). This game doesn't even have its own page on their site yet, there is a banner, but it links to a store page where there is a story summary and the image below.

The story follows Tsubasa, a girl whose sister went to work as a teacher on a boys-only boarding school and suddenly disappeared. With her best friend Sei's help, she investigates the school and discovers a lot of unsavory rumors surrounding it. And so, she disguises herself as a boy and infiltrates the school in order to find out what happened to her missing sister. As she reaches closer and closer to the truth, meeting other teachers and students, her secret is discovered by a certain someone who has deep ties to the school's dark side, and now she's soon in a situation where she has to obey him (why, we're not told in the summary).

It sounds really promising, but I'm not a big fan of what I've seen of the art. Also, it's worth mentioning the game can be purchased in a bundle with a re-release of Wanna. ~Spartan Sex Spermax!~, an older title of theirs that shares a similar concept of a heroine disguised as a boy being discovered and trained, which is why I put Choukyou as a possible focus. As for the moral degeneration, the summary is pretty clear that Tsubasa may end up corrupted by the "Garden of Men" that is the school's underbelly.

More information on this will surely come out as the months go by. The fact there's an special version with "extra/extended content" besides the regular one also has me worried. As I said I'm not familiar with Guilty but hopefully it's not one of those games that gates content behind pricier editions.

Recommending my favorite Miel games, because why not?

I recently played Miel's newest title, Tomodachi no Kyonyuu Mama wa Zenbu Ore no Mono!, and since it really surpassed my expectations, I wanted to talk about it. But I've always had trouble with how to approach writing about Miel: not only most of their titles are too similar, meaning reviewing one would mean I'd have nothing to say about others - essentially locking myself out of reviewing more -, but even my favorites are so simple and straightforward there's not a lot to be said about them. But then I realized that was something I could take advantage of - since I don't need many lines to get my thoughts on each game out, they're perfect for a list format.

I started trying to make a top 10, but soon realized that wouldn't work either - my own biases made me choose games that were way too similar for the top spots, which is counterproductive to my goal of not being too repetitive. Moreover, I felt like ordering the games was a completely arbitrary process influenced strongly by both recency bias and nostalgia, in a list that was already very biased by taste. So I decided to group the games by category - that allowed me to talk more freely about the games while drawing attention to what I thought was the highlight of each one. And since I wasn't constrained by a top 10 format, I ended up with 12 recommendations. A number of them have been translated to English by Cherry Kiss games, and I'll put the localized title in parentheses when a translation exist.

Common points among most games

Almost all Miel harem games follow a similar formula - a protagonist that is hated, mocked or simply ignored by women around him gets in a position where he can rape them, makes them submit to him after one dicking (something called sokuochi, instant fall, something that will figure on a future Hentai Glossary post), becoming his adoring slaves. So the first few scenes of the game are dedicated to conquering the harem while the rest is putting it to good use. The sex scenes can get pretty hardcore, but the tone is kept light-hearted all the way, with the focus being on the absolute devotion the slaves experience.

Some games break this mold but they'll show up as their own category and be explained then.

Fantasy Harem

Let's start with the most popular type of Miel game. Honestly, I mean to get them out of the way first, as it's what most will probably be familiar with already. 

The Fantasy titles usually have some magic explanation for the protagonist's suddenly being able to turn the tables - from contracts with evil artifacts and beings, to cheat skills, to simply being summoned as the only male in a female-only world where they're unable to resist a man. As for the protagonist's origins, the majority of the titles feature the stock Isekai premise of someone being summoned or reincarnated in a parallel world, but there are a number of titles with a MC native to the fantasy land as well.

Riruka's experiments went horribly right

One highlight of this category is Isekai Haramase Harem Party (localized in English as Harem Hunter: Sex-Ray Vision). After dying from overwork, the protagonist is reincarnated in a fantasy world, but he didn't get any of the perks that usually come with it - no special powers, no godly guidance, no cheat skills, and so he's basically an ordinary guy. He still tries to become an adventurer, but he's just a pushover who gets made fun of by the others. He gets tricked by Riruka, the mage of a prominent all-female party, into helping her with an experiment, which was actually just testing dangerous potions and drugs on him, However, this has the unforeseen effect of granting him the ability to see the sexual weak points of people. It's like seeing their stats, but instead, he sees what kinks and weak spots they have buried deep into their bodies and psyches, and takes advantage of that to bring them to their knees. It's as good an excuse as any for sokuochi antics and has more thought put into it than simple "power of the dick" scenarios, and making every girl revolve around a specific fetish helps make them distinct even after mindbreak - something other Miel games struggle with. My favorite is definitely Moa, the Priestess who develops into a huge exhibitionist.

Besides the four main party members the protagonist conquers (made up of the aforementioned mage and priestess, a beast folk swordswoman, and an elf archer), there's also 3 side heroines the party encounters during their questing and the protagonist brings to their knees: a dark elf thief, a demon girl and a stuck up princess. It adds a nice variety to the scenes.

Another game I really like of the fantasy selection is Dekachichi Muchishiri BBA Kishidan (or Hot & Steamy Knights) where the protagonist is the only male in a female-only world and has already built an empire (this game is a thinly veiled sequel of Bakunyuu Himekishi wa Haramase Onaho, but the connections are only references), but a shipwreck leaves him stranded on unfamiliar territory protected by a troupe of 4 mature knights. Deciding to take them one after the other and rebuild his kingdom, he goes after them, plays them against each other, and so on. It got some really good moments like the Priestess Martina renouncing her faith to devote herself to cock or how the enslaved knights will set up traps and fight their former companions for the protagonist, but other than that, it's the standard fare - only with Akagi Rio's artwork instead of Ishii Akira. The artwork alone makes this one worth it honestly, it's the best art and scenarios among the Miel games with Akagi's art.

Lastly, I'd be remiss not to mention Elf Tanezuke Bokujou (Elf Breeding Farm), a game with only elf heroines getting enslaved and treated like livestock (but without pet play and actual pig or cow cosplay involved for the most part. It's more in the sense that Elves are a race of cattle themselves, which gets my seal of approval). The premise rings similar to Haramase Harem Party as the protagonist is subjected to Dark Elf's Melvy's experiments, but ends up overwhelming her. It turns out elves, being a long-lived and chaste race, are extremely weak to pleasure and even stuff like the smell of semen. So the protagonist pushes forward against the extremely prejudiced Elves and puts them in their place as his personal breeding stock, from their knights and princesses to their ancient queen Iris. This one got really good character designs (Ishii does some really delicious Elves) and lots of bondage scenes, it's sole sticking out point to me is that the girls are naked the entire time after being enslaved. It helps drive the point that they're lower than humans, but I always look forward to perverted clothing in Miel games. Plus, the lack of secondary heroines or scenes with one-scene extras takes away from the feeling of "becoming the ruler of the Elvish country" the game has going for it. Some titles later in this post will make what I mean by this a bit more clear.

That's about it for the fantasy harem titles. While they're the most popular in Miel's catalog, they're not my favorites. I tend to prefer modern settings. That is not to say I dislike the Fantasy titles, I do like them. But to me, Miel is at its best when it's doing...

Modern-day Harem

Basically the same structure as the fantasy games but taking place in a contemporary setting, I find them to be more varied when it comes to both the games' themes and the looks of the heroines - I find that a lot of the time, the fantasy Miel games are limited by the stock races/classes and by having the main clothing be very similar-looking armor. In that sense, a modern setting allows for more freedom as far as the designs go, and that's why I like them better. On the other hand, the scenarios are much less varied - almost all modern-day Miel games take place in a setting where male fertility rates have plummeted and the birth rates are at an all-time low. There comes along the protagonist who not only can get hard but has an abnormally large member that can churn out ridiculous amounts of semen, and all the girls are his for the taking - sometimes by law, sometimes in spite of it. Hentai logic through and through.

First, let's start with the game that motivated this post. Tomodachi no Kyonyuu Mama wa Zenbu Ore no Mono! was released on March 22, 2024. The protagonist grew up with an inferiority complex about his dick thinking it was below average because of his childhood friends always telling tall tales about theirs when in reality he's incredibly well-endowed - at one point he says his dick is "just" the size of a PET bottle and that he can "only" cum about 30 times a day. He also constantly fantasizes about these friends' mothers, who are all hot women from different walks of life - a businesswoman, a teacher, his neighbor who helps look out for him (the MC's parents are out of the picture), a refined and proper stay-at-home mom, and a former delinquent who now works retail, and thinks that if he had a big dick he would make them his, as polygamy is allowed for men who have outstanding fertility. Then, when the very strict teacher (and one of the aforementioned mothers) Atsuko catches him having an erection in class and decides to discipline his spirit through a judo lesson after school, the protagonist ends up with his pants down due to a poorly executed grapple and the truth about his dick is out, giving him the confidence to rape the teacher right in front of him and, when she submits, proceed with the harem plan he always dreamed about.

This is by all accounts a stock Miel plot. What makes it special is that scene-to-scene writing and the girls' voice acting are really good. It's one of their games that gets the "degrading strong women into slaves" the best, and little moments like the one who used to be the most dedicated housewife complaining that her husband and son get in the way of her serving her Master and that she wants get rid of them already are the cherry on top. The protagonist is also deliciously cruel to them - something that isn't rare for Miel protagonists, one of their selling points being the whole erohidoi ("lewd and twisted") nature of the content, but I feel this goes a step beyond with setups like the protagonist spanking them while they prostrate themselves and then choosing the two who had the nicest screams to be "rewarded" by sucking his dick and lick his ass while making pig sounds. The chosen girls also happen to be the tough former delinquent and cold businesswomen who were the hardest characters for him to approach and rape at the beginning.

Those little moments make Miel games stand out for me and this one is full of them. And this game has some of the best blowjob sounds I've ever heard in an eroge, the voice actresses and directing really deserve some praise here. The writing does help with the girls losing themselves in the act instead of talking while giving head, giving an impression they're really ruled by their female instincts - the protagonist jokingly thinks in one scene that they're so single-mindedly dedicated to the act it's almost like they forgot how to speak. Good stuff.

The netori is the cherry on top with staples like the "sex while on the phone with the husband" scene having good twists like every lovey-dovey line she says having a double meaning and being actually directed at the protagonist's dick. The protagonist chooses to not have his slaves divorce the husbands right away because he wants to enjoy the thrill of cheating for a while, and that leads to some fun moments, especially with how ready the girls are to just drop their families including their sons as soon as he gives the order.

I'm going to stop myself from gushing about the game right now, being something I just played and is fresh in the memory, it's unfair to compare to others I haven't played for years. Stuff like this is why I didn't want to make a top 10. But still, I do feel that the writing is above average by Miel's standards. The art by Maki Daikichi can look a bit off at times, but nothing major.

Anyway, moving on.

[News] Musou no Haramase Onaho Kishidan - The Princess Knight Series that Kickstarted Miel's Fantasy High Makes a Comeback

Miel is an eroge company with a bit of a reputation. That their games are repetitive, that they're not satisfying as mindbreak games because the girls become perverts after their first scene, and that there is way too much peeing in them. Anyone familiar with the studio's work (localized in the West by Cherry Kiss Games) has seen people voice these complaints or thinks this to some degree. They're also known for their comically long subtitles.

A brief overview of Miel

It's not wrong to say that Miel games do often adhere to a formula and that with rare exceptions you know exactly what you will get before going in. But the thing is, I think that's fine. Miel isn't a company with lofty ambitions seeking to revolutionize the eroge industry. It's a small studio that knows exactly the kinds of games they do - small-scale, short nukige featuring mind break and sexual slavery, usually with a tone that swings more fun and light-hearted than dark and twisted (even though the acts portrayed tend to be pretty hardcore or, as they like to describe it, erohidoi, something like "pervy and cruel"), by way of having the mindbreak process happen over the course of only one scene for each girl (which is called sokuochi, "instant fall") and the rest of the game consisting of debauched fun with eager slaves. They have a niche and they provide to it almost monthly, and pretty cheaply too - most of their games cost between ¥1000 and ¥2000 (and often go into sale for way less), with only brand-new releases with one of their main artists at the helm going over the ¥3000 mark. I can respect the commitment, honestly. Other companies on a similar size and price range I can think of, like Appetite, take the "throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks" approach and as a result nothing really feels genuine about their games. You can say what you want about Miel's games, but you can't deny they have passion for what they do. I have played my share of their games to know for a fact that even if the scenarios can be derivative, there's no script recycling going on. Someone who writes different stuff for the same basic premise over and over again is a true pervert and I salute them.

Now that the introduction and my little bit of apologia is out of the way - it's the first time I bring up this company on the blog, I had to throw my two cents in -, let's get to the heart of the matter.

Miel today is mostly known for their fantasy harem titles, both of Isekai and non-Isekai varieties. Almost always following some variation of a down-on-his-luck or slimy protagonist getting his hands on a power that allows him to subjugate and enslave the most powerful women around. While the focus on sexual slavery and hardcore sex have been core parts of the company's content since its beginning, Fantasy settings were a secondary thing for a long time, featured on only two or three games, as their big thing before was school setting harems, and before that, Netori. What caused the two shifts of focus were games that were big hits and helped expand their audience. Not that they abandoned the previous genres entirely - they still do school and other modern-day settings, and they still do slower corruption netori-focused games on occasion. It's just that their big tentpole titles, what they're known for, what gets localized the fastest, are the fantasy games. And the game that started this shift was one Saikyou no Haramase Onaho Kishi-dan, released in 2016.

Onaho Kishi-dan Series

Onaho Kishi-dan is a reincarnation-type Isekai where the protagonist was reborn into a country that had been cursed so that all males would become impotent, so the population is declining and women occupy the positions of power. The protagonist is not only immune but also finds a way to channel his sexual frustration (he was a virgin his entire original life + reincarnated life) into magic and do all sorts of perverted things to the knights and princess of his country, finally marching into enemy territory and taking down the evil queen by making her one of his slaves. This game is not original but it's pretty well executed with good sex scenes, and more importantly, it was at the right time and place as this kind of Isekai was starting to soar in popularity. Since then, Miel was able to remain attuned to the genre to ride its many trends - they've done nukige using more gamified settings with classes and cheat skills, villainesses-focused ones, so on and so forth.

But Onaho Kishidan itself only had one sequel, Muteki no Haramase Onaho Himekishi-dan, which was seen as vastly inferior. It has sex scenes, not helped by Ishii entering a period where his art declined for a while before getting much better than it ever was. Whether it was some undisclosed health issue, creative block, or simply the growing pains of an artist experimenting with his art style no one knows. What matters is that since this second game, the name has been put to rest.

Until now, as Miel announced Musou no Haramase Onaho Kishi-dan ~Tsuyoi Mesu o Jutsu De Kuppuku Sasete Erohidoi Koto Yaritaihoudai no Zettai Chuusei Harem o Tsukuru!~ (I told you the subtitles are hilariously long. I spared you from the previous two. This one translates to something like "Peerless Pregnant Onahole Knights ~Build an Absolutely Loyal Harem by Subjugating Strong Females with your Powers and Doing All the Perverted Things You Wish~").

Summary and My Expectations

What catches my attention here is that the last time Miel decided to dust off the name of a long-dormant series with their Kimomen series, they hit a home run with one of my favorites among their modern releases and have since maintained a bar of quality within the revived series. So what I'm hoping for here is a similar treatment. Miel has been teasing this game since August, which for their standards is a damn long time, so I'm intrigued, to say the least. Of course, I don't expect anything out of the norm, but I expect some good quality norm. A quality beef burger instead of the usual McDonalds, so to speak. I'll have to wait and find out I guess.

Now sharing a bit about the game itself, it harkens back to the original Onaho Kishi-dan in a lot of ways. The protagonist this time is not isekai'd (at least the official site doesn't mention it), but a native of the fantasy world who had his home country destroyed by the sadistic Knight Queen Carla, and now lives in a forest as an exile. He resents all the lady knights for fighting all over the land in their struggle for power, and upon finding a cursed sword, realizes that his desire is not only to defeat them but also to dominate them and turn them into his slaves and sex toys. He forms a pact with the sword which gives him the power to carve a crest of lust on his targets' bodies and enslave them through sex, and starts his journey. His first target is fellow exile Princess Erica, who fights as a knight to reclaim her country from Carla's clutches.

Womb tattoos are a staple of Miel games, but this time they're a literal representation of the protagonist's power over the girls' bodies.

The Heroines

What's a nukige without the ladies we'll get to rape and enslave, amirite? So let's have a quick look at the 5  Knights and what we can expect from them.
